# 11 - BLOX Token, Hotspots & Pledging

## PHASE 1A

Jan 31st - April 30th 2024 (3 month period)

Total Distribution: **35007 BLOX**

Minibrix earn $BRIX and a share of the available $BLOX based on their staking power using the following formula:

Sum of YOUR Minibrix Staking Power = <mark style="background-color:green;">**Your QDOS Score**</mark>

\[YOUR QDOS SCORE / SUM OF EVERYBODIES QDOS SCORES] x BLOX TOKEN DAILY DISTRIBUTION

**Example**

Total Distribution over the 3 month period = **35007 BLOX**

Total Daily Distribution = **383.6 BLOX**

<mark style="color:orange;">**User B**</mark> has a QDOS score of **6.0**

<mark style="color:green;">**User C**</mark> has a QDOS score of **12.6**

<mark style="color:red;">**User D**</mark> has a QDOS score of **18.4**

The total of everybody's QDOS Scores = **418.6**

**Therefore:**

<mark style="color:blue;">**User A**</mark> would earn (2.2/418.6)\*383.6 = **2.016 BLOX per day**

<mark style="color:orange;">**User B**</mark> would earn (6.0 / 418.6)\*383.6 = **5.498 BLOX per day**

<mark style="color:green;">**User C**</mark> would earn (12.6 / 418.6)\*383.6 = **11.546 BLOX per day**

<mark style="color:red;">**User D**</mark> would earn (18.4 / 418.6)\*383.6 = **16.862 BLOX per day**

## PHASE 1B

April 30th - July 30th 2024 (3 Month Period)

Distribution: **35007 BLOX**

Total Daily Distribution = **383.6 BLOX**

Total Daily Distribution to Alcor LP Holders = **19.182 (5%)**

Total Daily Distribution to Alien Worlds Players = **19.182 (5%)**

Total Daily Distribution to Taco Brigades Players = **19.182 (5%)**

Total Daily Distribution to Minibrix and Microblox Holders = **326.092 (85%)**

This will feature the release of Brix Staking, where you will be able to stake your $BRIX, $BLOX, BRIWAX and BLOBRI LP Tokens on Brixsociety.io in order to boost your QDOS score, and therefore your BLOX earning potential, using the following formula:

1 + (USER % OF $BRIX POOL + USER % OF $BLOX POOL + 2 x (USER % OF BRIWAX POOL + USER % OF BLOBRI POOL)) / 100] \* YOUR QDOS SCORE

Please note that the tokens you stake to the $Brix and $Blox pools will diminish at a rate of 0.015% a day (5.31% APR).  All the $Brix removed will be burned, and the $Blox will be converted to $Brix on the market and burned.  This mechanic does NOT apply to staked LP tokens.

**Example**

<mark style="color:blue;">**User A**</mark> has a 30% share of the $Brix pool, a 12% share of the $Blox pool, a 40% share of the BRIWAX pool and a 40% share of the BLOBRI pool.

<mark style="color:orange;">**User B**</mark> has a 30% share of the $Brix pool, a 60% share of the $Blox pool, a 10% share of the BRIWAX POOL and a 50% share of the BLOBRI pool.

<mark style="color:green;">**User C**</mark> has a 40% share of the $Brix pool, a 28% share of the $Blox pool, a 50% share of the BRIWAX POOL and a 10% share of the BLOBRI pool.

<mark style="color:red;">**User D**</mark> has no investment in any of the pools

In this example we assume that no other users have invested in any of the pools, therefore:

<mark style="color:blue;">**User A**</mark> has a QDOS score of \[(30/100)+(12/100)+(2\*(40/100)+(2\*(40/100)+1]\*2.2 = **6.644**

<mark style="color:orange;">**User B**</mark> has a QDOS score of \[(30/100+(60/100)+(2\*(10/100)+(2\*(50/100)+1]\*6.0 = **18.6**

<mark style="color:green;">**User C**</mark> has a QDOS score of \[(40/100+(28/100)+(2\*(50/100)+(2\*(10/100)+1]\*12.6 = **36.288**

<mark style="color:red;">**User D**</mark> has a QDOS score of \[(0/100+(0/100)+2\*(0/100+0/100)+1]\*18.4 = **18.4**

The total of all QDOS scores now = **459.332**

**Therefore:**

<mark style="color:blue;">**User A**</mark> would earn (6.644/459.332]\*326.092 = **4.717 BLOX per day**

<mark style="color:orange;">**User B**</mark> would earn (18.6/459.332)\*326.092 = **13.205 BLOX per day**

<mark style="color:green;">**User C**</mark> would earn (36.288/459.332)\*326.092 = **25.762 BLOX per day**

<mark style="color:red;">**User D**</mark> would earn (18.4/459.332)\*326.092 = **13.063 BLOX per day**

## PHASE 2

July 30th 2024 - Jan 28th 2025 (6 Month Period)

#### Brix Hotspots Sale

A Hotspots Sale will take place on July 30th 2024, only 30 Hotspots will be available during this phase.

Hotspots will consist of three rarities, or sizes; Small, Medium and Large.<br>

A total of 18 small, 8 medium and 4 large Hotspots will be available in this sale, the size of your Hotspot will be based on luck of the draw.

The capacity of your Hotspot will become important during phase 3, when ‘Pledging’ begins.

The earning potential of your Hotspot can be boosted relative to other Hotspot owners by boosting your Hotspot score.  This works with exactly the same mechanic as a QDOS score as described in Phase 1A.

Land owners will have the choice whether to allocate their staking boosts to their Hotspot in order to boost their HOTSPOT score, or whether to allocate them to their Minibrix to boost their QDOS score.

In order to qualify for whitelisting for the Hotspot sale you must have a minimum of 400 BLOX staked to The Brix Society Staking site in the $BLOX staking pool. \

Alcor LP Holders: **4667.6 BLOX (10%)**

Total Daily Distribution to Alien Worlds Players = **2333.8 (5%)**

Total Daily Distribution to Taco Brigades Players = **2333.8 (5%)**

Minibrix Holders: **18670.4 BLOX (40%)**

Hotspot Owners: **18670.4 BLOX (40%)**

Stake to the Brix, Blox and the BRIWAX and BLOBRI Pools to boost your earnings potential of your Hotspot compared to other users.

Stake to the Brix, Blox and the BRIWAX and BLOBRI Pools to boost your earnings potential of your Minibrix compared to other users.

## **PHASE 3**

Starts Jan 28th 2025

Minibrix now earn zero percent directly.

Hotspots earn 80% and the remaining 20% is as set out in phase 2 between the Alcor LP, AlienWorlds and Brigades.

Minibrix holders can pledge their Wallet to Hotspots in order to boost the earning potential of that Hotspot compared to other Hotspots.

By pledging your wallet you are registering your QDOS score with that HOTSPOT which increases their Hotspot score, and therefore increases that Hotspots $Blox earning potential relative to other Hotspots.

In return the Pledger receives a split of the $blox that Hotspot earns (Percentages to be determined).

Pledgers can Stake to the Brix, Blox or BRIWAX Pools to boost the earnings of their chosen Hotspot compared to other Hotspots AND boost THEIR earning potential from that Hotspot compared to other pledgers.
